Textured Tile

Textured tiles are similar to the 3-dimensional tiles we talked about earlier but with a raw edge, called split face and they deserve their own category! They have a natural texture and color, are timeless, and are always unique. Textured tiles generate a warm, organic feeling and contrary to popular belief; they’re not just for the exterior of your home. In fact, they’re particularly excellent in helping achieve that sought-after California-Cool indoor-outdoor aesthetic. In one project, we used a deep grey lava rock stone on a bathroom wall that continued from the vanity wall into the shower. In another project, we used a split face stone on a bedroom wall to accentuate the texture with lighting. In a bathroom, we’d recommend pebble rocks on the wall or flat rocks on the bathroom floor (something that’s more flat and easy on bare feet). See more textured tile here.
