Quick Tips for an Elevated Thanksgiving Table
Keep these 5 tips in mind to help you tailor your elegant Thanksgiving table.
Cozy Linen Layers: One thing that will instantly elevate your Thanksgiving table are layers of textured table linens: Look for linen napkins, tablecloths, and table runners, coasters, and placemats in your desired color palette. Which brings us to our next tip:
Get Creative with Color: Don’t feel confined to having to use orange, yellow, and red because they are “Fall Colors.” Consider experimenting with a softer color palette of blues and purples which can seamlessly transition your table from Fall to Winter.
Involving all the Senses: Combining candles, flowers, and food creates a truly ambient experience. Thinking like a designer means thinking not just about how thing looks, but how they function and appeal to all the senses.
Avoid Turkey Fatigue: Don’t go overboard with the pumpkin or turkey motifs: Choose a select area or two in which to include a pumpkin, turkey, or two. Maybe just the coasters, or napkins?
Polish It Off: Give your table a polished look with candle sticks, elegant flowers, and classic dishware (like the classic Spode Thanksgiving collection)
