What were we doing at Las Vegas Market?
Stearns & Foster and Temperpedic mattresses flew us out to Vegas to chat about all things wellness! We had the best time with their entire team and cannot rave enough about the improved quality of sleep you get after a night on one of their mattresses.
We’re excited to share our entire presentation with you soon! Stay tuned. In the meantime, we wanted to share with you our top 5 interior design trend takeaways from market. Here’s what we’re loving:
Top Trends from Las Vegas Market
Relaxed, Boho Lines
A visit with our friends at Four Hands and Dovetail proved relaxed, Boho lines are trending up! And the demands of our clients certainly agree. We were also introduced to a new bedding line that was so romantic and swoon-worthy– Amity.
2. Natural Materials
Linens, rattan, and performance fabrics abound! Las Vegas Market was picking up on one of our favorite, sustainable trends – utilizing organic and natural materials and indoor-outdoor performance fabrics meant to last. These look phenomenal on the relaxed, boho pieces we mentioned above – as well as on the more structured formal pieces.
3. Sophisticated Beachy Vibes
Although we associate Vegas with glitz and glam — and there is certainly plenty of that — the primary buyer at Las Vegas Market is shopping with the SoCal coastal customer in mind and that means lots of beachy vibes in showrooms like Currey Co lighting and orient Express – gorgeous imported monochromatic pieces. We could design an entire beach house from these two showrooms alone!
4. Color Pop on the Walls
When it comes to color – expect to find it on the walls. Delano Art is a showroom full of edgy, inspiring poppy art and Loloi Rugs is dipping their toe into the art world as well. We could have spent all day in their newly expanded Las Vegas Market showroom. They’re dipping their toes in the world of wall art with one-of-a-kind global pieces: gorgeously framed vintage fabrics and pieces of rugs.
5. Cozy and Colorful Loungey Nooks
Four Hands and Dovetail also introduced a lot of gorgeous lounge furniture, lower to the ground. These smaller-scale pieces were displayed around gorgeous bookshelves and wall units. These corners were so cozy and inspired we could sit here a while, kick our feet up with a glass of red wine and curl up with a good book.
