Last year, in 2022, 4 major paint companies selected similar shades of misty green.  It felt very peaceful with a return to nature. (We talked about here.)  And while we’re still seeing deeper varieties of green going strong, 2023 is looking a lot more vibrant and optimistic.

Benjamin Moore Introduces Color Trends 2023 Palette

We love how Benjamin Moore worked with electro-funk duo Chromeo to present the 2023 color palette, performed room by room by a beautifully expressive dancer.
They’ve even created a Spotify Playlist for every color that perfectly matches the mood of each shade.

2023 COLOR TREND: Raspberry Blush

Raspberry Blush is an eye-catching bright pink with a touch of coral.  Uplifting, exciting, optimistic.

If you’re feeling daring, paint the Living Room, Dining Room Powder Room.  For a great first impression and blast of good luck, paint the front door.

TIPS:  Avoid bedrooms as red adds heightened energy rather than encourages relaxation.

2023 COLOR TREND: Conch Shell

Conch Shell feels similar to a blush Millennial Pink but more grown up, with a natural dusty clay undertone.  Pair with dark greens, deep earthy browns or charcoal black to feel modern and grounded.  This shade is perfect for Bedrooms or Dining Rooms because peach reflects beautifully on everyone’s face, especially in dimly lit rooms.

2023 COLOR TREND: New Age

New Age makes us feel very Zen.  As an airy light purple, similar to Pantone’s Color of the Year 2022, Veri Peri, this dusty lilac has a warm grey undertone.  To instantly make any room feel strikingly fresh and modern, pair next to bronze, deep browns, green or burled wood.

2023 COLOR TREND: North Sea Green

North Sea Green might feel similar to 2021 color of the year Aegean Teal.  But this shade of blue green is less muted and much more vibrant.  Add this shade to more than just walls and use it in wallpaper, drapery and bathroom tiles.
